EADA recognised once again among the world's leading business schools in the Positive Impact Rating 2026
The recognition reinforces EADA's leadership in education for sustainability, an area in which it was a pioneer, having launched the first sustainability master's programme offered by a business school in Europe
EADA Business School has once again been recognised in the Positive Impact Rating (PIR) 2026, one of the most significant international initiatives for assessing the positive impact of business schools from the perspective of their students.
In this seventh edition, EADA has once again been included among the schools classified as "Transforming Schools" (Level 4), a category that distinguishes institutions that have developed a culture, governance structures and systems geared towards generating a tangible positive impact on society.
The results of the Positive Impact Rating 2026 reflect the growing maturity of the global movement driving more responsible business education. This edition saw participation from 90 business schools across 32 countries, with close to 20,000 valid student responses collected, consolidating the PIR's position as one of the leading international benchmarks for measuring how schools contribute to developing leaders capable of tackling today's social and environmental challenges.
A recognition aligned with EADA's DNA
EADA's presence in the Positive Impact Rating is not the result of an isolated initiative, but rather of a long-standing commitment to sustainability, responsible leadership and business transformation.
Long before sustainability became a strategic priority for organisations, EADA was already committed to training professionals capable of generating a positive impact. In 2017, it launched its Master in Sustainability Management and Business Impact, regarded as the first sustainability master's programme offered by a business school in Europe — a pioneering programme that has helped train several generations of professionals specialising in sustainability, innovation and business impact.
In 2027, this programme will celebrate its tenth edition, having trained more than 350 professionals who today drive ethical and responsible leadership models in companies and organisations worldwide.
This pioneering vision remains one of the institution's strategic pillars today. Sustainability is part of EADA's value proposition and is integrated transversally across teaching, research, relationships with businesses and the overall learning experience.

The recognition achieved in the Positive Impact Rating 2026 coincides with the consolidation of one of the broadest sustainability-focused educational offerings among European business schools.

What students expect from business schools
The Positive Impact Rating 2026 report highlights a clear trend: students are calling for sustainability, ethics and social impact to move beyond being complementary elements and become central components of business education. They are also demanding more practical methodologies, stronger links to society's real challenges, and more robust partnerships between schools, businesses, public administrations and social organisations.
These conclusions align closely with EADA's educational model, which is based on experiential learning, collaboration with companies and organisations, leadership development and the generation of positive impact.
Training leaders to transform organisations and society
The 2026 edition of the Positive Impact Rating also introduces a new dimension focused on research impact, reinforcing the importance of business schools actively contributing to the resolution of social and environmental challenges through the generation of relevant knowledge connected to society's needs.
This vision aligns with EADA's commitment to applied research aimed at transforming organisations and creating value for all stakeholders.
For EADA, this recognition serves as further encouragement to continue advancing a mission that forms part of its identity: preparing the leaders organisations need to drive a more sustainable, inclusive and responsible economy.
EADA's continued presence in the Positive Impact Rating confirms a vision the school has championed for decades: training leaders capable of generating economic, social and environmental value in a balanced way. In a context where companies need to place sustainability at the heart of their strategies, EADA continues to establish itself as one of the leading business schools for those who aspire to lead the transformation towards a more responsible and sustainable economy.
